NATIONAL POETRY MONTH EVENT!
Nicole Hardy lives in Seattle where she works as a private writing teacher and a waitress. The author of Mud Flap Girl's XX Guide to Facial Profiling, Michele earned her MFA at Bennington College, and was nominated for a 2007 Pushcart Prize. Nicole’s poems have appeared in many journals, including Margie, Eclipse, The Red Wheelbarrow, and The Meridian Anthology of Contemporary Poetry and she participates in many local readings, was most recently featured at SAM Word, Seattle Art Museum's monthly reading series.
Marjorie Manwaring lives in Seattle, where she is a freelance writer and an editor for the online poetry and art journal the DMQ Review. She reads her work frequently in the Seattle area, and her publications include 5 AM, Sentence, Crab Creek Review, and Floating Bridge Review. Her chapbook Magic Word. Several of her poems have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is a 2010 Jack Straw Writer and has recently been awarded writing residencies through the Whiteley Center at Friday Harbor and Artsmith on Orcas Island. Marjorie received her MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from the Bennington College Writing Seminars.
Jeremy Voigt has a MFA from Bennington College. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Beloit Poetry Journal, Willow Springs, Washington Square, and other magazines. His chapbook Neither Rising nor Falling was published by Finishing Line Press fall 2009. He has been featured on Garrison Keillor's Writer's Almanac. He teaches English in western Washington.
